Iron with a Low Heat Setting
- What you need: A low-temperature iron and a pressing cloth.
-
Steps:
- Remove the curtains and lay them flat on an ironing board.
- Place a thin cotton cloth (e.g., a pillowcase or tea towel) over the sheer fabric.
- Iron on a low-heat setting without steam, moving gently over the pressing cloth.
- Tip: Test a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure the heat doesn’t damage the fabric.
OR
Steam Them While Hanging
- What you need: A handheld garment steamer or an iron with a steam function.
-
Steps:
- Hang the curtains on the rod.
- Use the steamer or the iron on a low-heat setting with steam.
- Hold the steamer a few inches away from the fabric and move it downward in slow, smooth strokes.
- Tip: Avoid holding the steamer too close to the fabric to prevent water spots or burns.
